Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa SallamJazak'Allah for your question. The
Ma'ariful Qur'an is a book of exegisis (tafsir) of the Qur'an al kareem. Although it's author is unknown however, it is possible that the book maybe written by Mawlana Muhammad Shafi', who is a scholar of the Deobandi school of thought. It emphasises their viewpoints from a liberal prospective, and is therefore permissable for reference purposes. Another version of the same book has also been written by Muhammad Idris Khandhalvi, on the same issue, and also carries the same title.
The
Faza'il-e-Sadaqat, is a book within the book named
Faza'il-e-A'mal, which is authored by
Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyyah, who places great emphasis upon it's readers in making
tabligh to all those, who are not within their circle of thought. Although Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyyah is also stemmed to the Deobandi school of thought, nevertheless, it has caused a faction into becoming the
Tablighi Jama'at, which is considered seperate to the normal Deobandi school of thought.
The book provides verses from the Qur'an al kareem, Ahaadith, and narrations, which once studied, and although subject to criticism by the Ahl al-Sunnah school of thought, are supposed to divert people from the non-practice of
tabligh, to the practice of
tabligh.
The
Hisn-e-Hasin is a book of recitations, which is unique for it's purpose. It is regarded as an authentic source, as many of the
du'as and
waza'if are taken from the Qur'an al kareem and the books of hadith. This book is a must to have, as it's author 'Allama Jizri
(Rehmatullahi ’Alaih) demonstrates it's acceptance in the world today.
The
Ahya'-al-'Ulum, probably one of the famous books on
tasawwuf and
sufism, which is authored by Hujjatul Islam, Imam Abu Hamid Muhammad bin Muhammad Ghazali
Rehmatullahi ’Alaih, the greatest scholar of this subject, in his time. This book is also regarded as an authentic source, as all his derivations in relation to
tasawwuf and
sufism, are made according to the Qur'an al kareem and
hadith. This book is a must for all those who seek that way, in becoming a
'salik'.
The
Hayat-us-Sahaba, authored by Mawlana Muhammad Yusuf Khandhelvi, which has been translated into various languages due to the finances available to this school of thought. I have heard that it is also taught in some of the non-Ahl al-Sunnah Universities around the globe, as it's acceptance was greatly appreciated through the Deobandi school of thought. It concentrates upon the lives of the Sahaba-e-Kiram. It would have received greater appreciation, had the references been placed, according to the relevant sources.
The
Durr-e-Mansoor is a book on exegisis (
tafsir), by 'Allama Jaluddin Suyuti
Rehmatullahi ’Alaih, and carries primary authenticity upon it's subject, amongst other great
tafsir books, in the Ahl as-Sunnah w'al Jama'ah school of thought.
Similarly, the
Kanz al-Ummal, an authentic
hadith book which is written by 'Allama 'Ali Muttaqi Hindi of Jaunpur, India. It carries a great many
hadiths, and is regarded as a great source of authenticity. It is regarded as a great
hadith book.
Unfortunately I could not find any information on the book named
Tanwir-ul-Hawalik, but once I do come across any information, I will be glad to pass it on.
Finally, the
Ma'ariful Hadith, is also a
hadith book, and I think has been authored by Mawlana Muhammad Shafi', from the Deobandi school of thought. It contains some of the commands
(ahkam) of the Qur'an al kareem, and from
ahadith. It is a good read, as references in this instance would also have been an advantage.
I hope that what limited information I have given to you, maybe of some use to you. Please make du'a that Allah the Almighty, grants us a good life, and hereafter, and that we may prosper in propagating His religion. (Amin)Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
