Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Any form of Television or video whether it is Harry Potter, or Dirty Harry, is deemed impermissable in Islam. It is far suitable to watch Islamic or educational channels if you thirst for Television. But no one should have any thirst for TV as its basically out of fashion. Theres more excitement, love, honour, esteem, respect, humour, and indeed entertainment in reading and studying Islamic literature, on personalities, history, places, events, sites, people, and much much more.... Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
