Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam You may recite the Qur'an in any voice you wish. It is better than not reciting the Qur'an at all, or not reciting it because your tone is ''like the tone of a Wahhabi''? This excuse is not valid for recitation not to be recited, in other words it should be recited. You may imitate the Qaris of the Ahl-as-Sunnah as they also have good voices, and won many awards, etc. Qari Sayyad Sadaqat 'Ali, Qari Khushi Muhammad etc. are good examples. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
