asSalaamu alaikum, Earlier i had heard in one of the Dr.Zakir Naik's lecture a verse of the Qur'aan that "Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has sent revelations to respective worlds............." (not an exact translation) In another verse Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says, “All praises is due to Allaah Rabbul Aalameen”. Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala refers Himself as Rabbul Aalameen (the Lord of the Worlds). It is understood from this word, Aalameen meaning world, that there is more than one world. The verse does not say how many worlds there are. However in another verse, Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says, “Allah is He who created seven skies and likewise the earth." Also, it is understood from the Ahadees that Rasulullaah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam met different Prophets at different skies during the incident of Meraj. While in another hadees where Rasulullaah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam says -"What bond is there between me and the world? I am like a rider on a summer day who takes shelter to rest under the shade of a tree, then goes on his way."Question: Does this mean that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) after leaving this world, is now performing his duties of Prophethood in another world too and so on till Last Day of Universe? ?............if other worlds exist too which is proved by Qur'aan. jazakAllaah khair.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Correct. There are many worlds. The world of men, the world of jinn, the world of other creation, the world of the angels, the world of dreams, the world of things to happen, the world of things that have happened... Some we know about, others we have never heard of, because our knowledge is limited, and Allahs Subhanahu wa Ta'ala knowledge is infinite. The centre of all these worlds is the Beloved Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, who is regarded as 'The Reason for the Existence of All Creatures... Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. That is why, He Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was a Prophet before, is a Prophet now, and will be in future (i.e. Resurrection, and Judgment Days). But how far are we ready to accept this? Do we doubt this, criticise this, or question this... and why? Have we not the belief of all those things that has been revealed to us? Do we not appreciate this? Why? May Allah the Almighty keep us all firm in belief and religion, and may He prevent us from making false assumptions, and having false belief. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
