asSalaamu alaikum, i have read ur following reply to one of the post related to the topic............ "The twelve imams are haqq. The ahl-as-Sunnah also recognise the 12 imams. The Ashrafi silsila, which this website is affiliated to also recognises the 12 imams in it's shijrah.......................... .........................It is therefore permissable to know who the 12 imams are, to commemorate them, and to send reward to them also. The ahl-as-Sunnah wal Jama'ah has more recognition to them than the Shi'ites, but we simply do not go too far with them, in relation to our belief. " Question 1: pls name who the 12 imams are according to our belief Question 2: pls give the complete detailed khatam of one of the Imams, which is on the 27th of Rajab, the 'Khatam of Imam Ja'far Sadiq' Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu....which i have read that u and ur family perform every year Question 3: pls give all the detailed collection of facts related to 13th Rajab i.e the Birth of Imam Ali alaihissalaam according to our belief...........or just provide the links for the info jazakAllaah khair

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam The twelve Imams who are recognised by the ahl-al-Sunnah wal Jama'ah are: Hadrat 'Ali Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Hasan Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Husayn Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Zayn-al-'Abidin Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam 'Ali Rida Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Muhammad Baqir Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Ja'far Sadiq Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Musa Kazim Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Muhammad Taqi Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Muhammad Naqi Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Hasan 'Askari Radi Allahu anhuHadrat Imam Muhammad Mahdi Radi Allahu anhuThe Khatam of any Imam, any Companion, and any Ummati can be given at any time, as there is NO SPECIFIED time and date to commemorate this in. It involves conveying reward from good acts, such as recitation of Qur'an, praying the Quls, The Fatihah, as these surahs contain as much thawab as a whole Qur'an. There is no different khatam for Imam Ja'far Sadiq Radi Allahu anhu, as the Qur'an is the same, as are its verses and chapters, and there is no other word better than that of the Qur'an. So there is not a difference. The object of the Khatm is to present the reward to the Beloved Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, to All His Companions, To all His ahl-al-Bayt, to all the tabi'in, the taba' tabi'in, the a'immah-e-din, the mu'minin, mu'minat, muslimin and muslimat, everybody. Therefore it is an act which includes everybody, on a day which is regular, as Allah the Almighty loves a deed which is committed to, and done regularly, no matter how little. Please could you make a seperate post for the last question, as this is a different topic in itself. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
