Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
i want to ask about reward of certain aamal. as it is hadith that reward of reciting 3 times of surah ikhlas is equal to one Quran al karim.......... now if we want to give its reward to a deceased ......... can we give the reward of one quran al karim or we will give reward of 3 surah ikhlas.
As it is said that reward of drood lakhi is al to 100,000 drood, can we say that today, we have read 100,000 drood sharif.
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam By reciting surah-e-Ikhlas 3 times you will get the reward of reciting one full Qur'an, and this (even though as short as it may seem), can be conveyed to any deceased persons, and as many deceased persons as you like. The reward of 'durud-e-lakhi' is the same as 100,000 'durud sharifs', but it is not the same as reciting 100,000 'durud sharifs, as reward is different, and number of recitations, which is even better, is different. 'The person who will be close to me on the Day of Judgement, will be he, who recited the MOST 'durud sharif' upon me' (hadith) is something which may let you comprehend a little better. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
