Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam It is permissible to use any method or application to repair or make good the Qur'an or any of its sacred pages. It is your responsibility to ensure any tools or repair material are clean and halal before applying them to the Qur'an. One can easily nowadays utilise the internet for contacting manufacturers for ingredients of its products. If in doubt then steer clear. Its important that whoever is handling the Qur'an is sensitive to it, and it is your responsibity not to tear the Qur'an sharif intentionally, or unintentionally. Jazak'allah for your question.
