Salaam dear imam...
I just want to ask you..that where in Quran it says that Muhammad SAW is the last prophet?...I am a sunni..and I do beleieve that he is the last prophet... but the thing is..i have never read it anywhere..and i really want proof... because even the Kalma Tayyab says "...and Muhammad SAW is the prophet of Allah" ..it doesnt say "LAST" prophet...

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam 'Ma kana Muhammadun aba ahadim mir rijalikum wa lakir rasullulahi wa khatamin nabiyyin'(Qur'an, al-Ahzab, 33/40) This is the verse which states that 'Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam is not the father of any one of you, but is the Messenger, and the seal (i.e. The Last) of the prophets'.According to this verse of the Qur'an, many ahadith related to this verse, and the consensus of the Muslim world for 1400 years, it is stated that Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, is the last, and final Messenger.
