Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Dear Imam Sahab, I pray that Ramadan is treating you well.
My wife has decided she wants to seperate with me. She has been unhappy for several years due to a lack of affection etc... by me. I can't blame her for her request and have agreed to it. I am however deeply hurt and upset as I feel my world is coming to an end. We have a 20 month old son and every time I look at him a feel so bad. I am sure that we will be fine though however it works out.
Basically I was wondering if you could recommend any duas to get me through this tough time. As a revert holding on to my Iman is all I have left.
Jazak Allah Khair
Fi amanillah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Try and make the marriage work, by whatever means necessary, as the worst thing in the eyes of Allah the Almighty in regard to His people is the divorce. However, if this is not possible, then please recite the following du'a as much as posssible, alongwith your five times daily prayer: 'Innallaha ma'as Sabirin' Insha'Allah by having the correct type of patience, Allah the Almighty will see you through this tricky time of hardship. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
