Assalamalkum
Hope you are in good health,
I understand that various ulema in the past have given fatwa that namaaz is not permissable if imaam is praing on a microphone. However id like to know if this is still the case ie alot of verdicts are given in the past but as technolog increases and their uses and benefits are known then we tend to allow the useage of them as they are bidat e hasana
I understand the huzoor muhadithe azam did some research and work on this i vaguley remember Hadrat taking about it once
What is hadrats verdict or opinion on this?
please can you displa the answer and pls i would appreciate if you could email me a copy too mo.nagori@applabs.com
jazakalah
may allah taala bless you with aman and aafiyah and may allah taala grant our shakh umre khidr and tandrusti and tawanai
aameen

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Your question answers the question itself. When microphones were first on the scene, there was controversy upon the recitation, thus the validity of salah by them. However, as time has taken it's toll, and it is no longer a necessity, but has to be used, and is used all over the world, it's permissibility has been granted, as we are in that era in which such apparatus requires the use of microphones. Unfortunately, I do not have any copies of fatwas relating to the impermissability of microphones. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
