Dear Imam Sahib,
Assalaamu Alaykum,
I know someone close to me who is thinking about sending his children to a wahabi teacher to learn Quran sharif. He wants his children to learn Quran properly and this is the only thing he is sending his children for. It also fits in with his timetable. Would you recommend him to do so? JazakAllah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam No I would not. Every Sunni household is under a duty to have their children educated by Sunni teachers. If this is not possible, then it is perfectly normal to have tuition taught in the house by a Sunni teacher, which is becoming the norm for educating children, all around the country. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
