Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
can you read quran shareef after one has prayed asr namaaz and it is not yet time for maghrib.
i have been told that after asr it is zawaal time so you can not do any tilawat/qaza namaaz/sijda.
is there any truth in this i would appreciate if you could clarify this matter.
Jazakallah Khair.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam It is stated in some places that it isnt permissable for example in qanun-e-shar'iyyat. If other times can be found to pray then that is permissable. If one cannot find the time to pray other than after 'Asr salah, and it is a daily routine to pray, and fears that this routine may break up, then it is fine to pray even after 'Asr salah, however it must be noted that it is not permissable to perform sajdah at this particular stage. This also includes the praying of salah, nafil etc. Other waza'if may be prayed at this stage, which may also include parts of Qur'an recitation. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
