Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamMany of us will be making an animal sacrifice inshAllah, besides sacrificing an animal what else would you like to sacrifice in order to reflect and think about the less fortunate around the world. It can be anything from not buying a new outfit ,not giving Eid presents or cooking excess food etc... Please share your personal sacrifices you may make for Eid ul Adha inshAllah. This Eid I am opting out from making a new outfit. JazakAllah khayrun. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Mashallah great idea with the sacrifice of the food brother.. i wish I could resist. I'll have to chain myself to the bed or something. lol.
I could imagine the burden upon the people with the high prices in the markets these days. May allah give us all the ability to fulfill our duties.

assalamu alaikum,
good question. As i do not really celebrate eid i.e qurbani is done via charity in some islamic country i already miss out.
Maybe more recitation of quran on eid day will be better.?

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuLabaik Allah Hummah Labaik, Labbaik La Shareeka Laka Labaik, Innal Hamda Wal Ni’amata Laka Wal Mulk, La Shareeka Lak!!!Mashallah! Some great sacrifices are being made! Ermmm I dont know what I will be sacrficing yet, as for the clothes Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala loves beauty, and to look good is to only attain His Subhanahu wa Ta'ala pleasure! and when it comes to food, if I dont eat then I'll pretty much be hungry Inshallah I will be spending my day doing lot and lots of Ibaadat, as Inshallah in the next few days n Eid I will like to be more intact with religion (various Nafl prayers and so on) because when I was at Hajj last year, its just amazing to see all the Hajjis doing various Ibaadats and trying to gain that spiritual peace of mind, heart and soul Alhamdulillah! and of course on top of all that I will be spending the day with my family! Fi Aminillah Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
