Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Salaam Imam saab.
I was just wondering that how is it to swear on things whilst convincing people.. Not literally swear but for instance 'I swear on my father's grave such an event never took place' or 'I swear by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala I did such a thing'?
Living in a non muslim society sometimes we mix culture with religion, so up till now I have never thought there was anything wrong with it. However now after a few comments I am wondering if it is right to 'swear' like that.
Jazakallahu khayrun
