Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
What's the difference between halal and kosher? I know kosher is a Jewish thing but I read in the other thread that some kosher certified things we are allowed to eat. .

ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamI have never seen Kosher meat but a jewish colleague did inform me that slaughtering methods are very similar to Halal but their meat is stored in salt to have the meat completely blood free, they also have to store meat seperately to other products in the fridge, even seperate cooking pans and utensils are used for meat and non meat. Personally not sure whether I would eat kosher meat. The Imam sahib gave a detailed response regarding Kosher meat. Imam Sahib's reply Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
