assalamu alaikum,
Is jaloos for milad only in countries i.e India, Bangladesh,Pakistan or any country that they have immigrated to?
Therefore jaloos for milad is only organised by asians and not done in other parts of the world amongst other muslims?

assalamu alaikum, Although mehfils/gatherings are throughout the world the actual march (JALOOS) is what i asked. Amongst arabs in uk and somali communities which are in large minorities in UK i have not heard of them doing a jaloos (march) Anyway jazakallah for your post  |

i think somebody shared photos of an jaloos in indonesia last year but am not sure which thread it's in.
i'm pretty much sure they have one all over the world as it's not an asian tradition as far as i'm aware it originated in Saudi. but i have no proof for that.
