Oh Dear friend!
Life: A glass half full or a glass half empty?
Oh dear friend ! ……Don’t become angered at life’s pain
Nor allow yourself to wilt under your ego’s strain
Becoming like the rainwater pouring away into the streets drain
Oh dear friend ! ……Don’t be a bystander in your life watching the joys, your achievements, your fulfilments and aspirations just ebbing away
Or your life’s major decisions by others words and actions, become swayed!
Falling emotionally sick to something which appears very much viral
Cascading deeper and deeper into an increasingly uncontrollable depressive spiral
However much we wish dearly and pray daily
That the good things of life might or should come to us quickly, sometimes we just have to be patient and wait
Because all things of this life inevitably belong to the play of fate !
Sometime those feelings and emotions become so intense
That we become overawed and feel our burdens appear to us, so immense
Leaving us at times some what bitter and about our situation some what incensed
Oh Dear friend !.... What has gone has gone,
It cannot be brought back by anyone !
What is in the past should remain there?
I know these words might sound harsh and unfair,
But I only say them because I genuinely do care !
Sometimes life’s situations are just trials that leave us shell shocked
As our whole existence becomes rocked
Unclear, confused we become some what dazed
And sometimes experience life in like a “zombie” state, crazed!
But truly dear friend this is but a temporary phase
Those experiences in the passage of time will come to pass
and turn to your memories , so fast
You and I are not the first to experience this life that seems so vast
Nor will we be the last !
As we to join “life’s play” and form the new cast
Life can truly have a good ending
If we continue to our Creator our prayers sending
And If we remember (to our Lord) to be thankful
And to others less fortunate or in need to be helpful
In these words there is no egoness, selfishness or personal vanity
“As mankind is like a rainbow made of many colours each with their own essences, but all come together to form the rainbow of humanity!”
