I am back to studying and have to submit 4 assignments by the end of June and I know what your going through Morning time is the best time to study when your mind is fresh, set some time aside to revise, drink plenty of fluid which is good for the brain, eat almonds good for the memory, I would take frequent breaks go for a walk for some fresh air or simply come on the forum take your mind off studying for a short while. Good luck sister you have our endless duas may you succeed in your exams ameen summa ameen. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Sister, I am told by a friend that the buzurgan-e-deen say that the best time to revise is after Fajar when your mind is fresh. And sister Nomee has given you great advise there too. May Allah ta'ala give our little sister success inshallah.

Different people have different ways of revising. You have to find the method that fits you best. Here's my method:
when I study, I have a notebook in which I write (yes writing, not high lighting) all the things I find to be important. After every 2 hours I take a 1 hour break. When I begin with the next 2 hours I read the summary made so far. And when I'm completely finished with one subject I read the whole summary and carry on to the next summary for the next exam.
By the way, what is our elder sister Nomee studying for after all these years?
I hope you pass your exams sister Bintyhawa. Wassalamu 'alaykum

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
As brother haarith has said diffirent ways to revise for diffirent people!! I have tried to revise in early mornin after namaz e fajar and i just fell asleep.
Al hamdulillah the best way for me is to do short bursts of 30 mins and then have a break. Then next subject. Do take a break on somedays because you might over do it. If its GCSE then i am sure 1 hour a week of a subject is enough.
Try the following wazaif:
Place your right hand on your forehead and place your left hand on your heart. Then read durood shareef 3 times. Then read RABBI ZIDNI ILMA for as many times you want. Then read durood shareef 3 times again and keep reading RABBI ZIDNI ILMA throughout the day whenever you have time.
May ALLAH Subhanahu wa Ta'ala with the blessed wassela of HAZRAT MUHMMED MUSTAFA Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam give you sucess in all your exams. Ameen summa ameen.

I;ll let you guys in on a little secret
when revising certain subjects have a specific odour when revising i.e lavender when doing science, lime when doing maths and make sure when your revising maths that lime smell is there and when you go to your exams make sure that odoour is with you and if you sniff it it should take you back to your revision, use unique smells/odours
