Istikhara results please advice

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Imam saab please could you shed some light on the following matters:

I have done Istikhara 'ghausiya' for marriage purposes and it came out positive.
I also tried the other method of Istikhara for the same person (when one prays 2rakat nafl, recites dua then falls asleep). I tried it for 3-4days as i was a bit confused about my dreams. Now on the first 2days i dreamt about green fields. On the 3-4th days all i remember is seeing the colours red and black in my dream. This confused me therefore once again i tried Istikhara 'ghausiya' which came out positive.

My question is why am i getting positive and negative results for the same person?? Also I had a dream where i see myself as a bride (i know its not good) please could you tell me exactly what it means. In my dream i dreamt that iam getting married to someone i dont want to marry (dont see who the groom is as hes not in my dream) i leave the wedding and go to the house of the guy that i wish to marry and i try to talk to him.

Please couuld you also state how effective istikhara ghausiya is?

I would be grateful if you could explain the above in some detail

Istikhara-e-ghawthiyyah is very effective. Actually, it is one of the best forms of istikhara. It gives positive results there and then, and once you have had a result, then I dont see why you should try and do it over and over again. One result is enough. The first one. Stick to it.

Like I told you before, and as you know, its not a good interpretation. However, if you are in doubt please donate sadaqah, khayrat, and give as much as you can in this way, as it will help you, in many ways.
