Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I was speaking to a colleague at work and he mentioned that he once watched a programme on TV where they found out that the cheese on frozen pizzas isn't actually cheese but a substitue made from animal fats.
He said that they found that the cheese was not listed as an ingredient in the ingredients section of the pizzas.
I'm not sure how true this is and I haven't been able to check a frozen pizza myself to see if the cheese is infact not listed as an ingredient but thought I better pass this along on the off chance he's right and frozen pizzas do indeed use these products.
If anyone happens to have a frozen pizza from a supermarket would they be able to quickly check the ingredients and see if the cheese is listed or not?
