Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Raheem Assalaatu Wassalaamu Alayka Yaa Rasoolallah Sallal Laahu Ta'alaa Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam As soon this Blessed Night (from Maghrib/sunset) starts until dawn, the Special Mercy and Forgiveness of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'alaa descends upon His Fortunate Servants. Similarly, Allah's Fortunate Servants are blessed with other Nights, the observance of which in prayer cannot be denied except by those who are blind even to the approvals of those who are the foundation pillars of their religious beliefs.Ahadith in support of the validity of observing the 15th Night of Sha'baan in prayer.- Sayyidinah Rasullullah said: "Allah Looks at His creation in the Night of mid-Sha`ban and He forgives all His creation except for a mushrik (idolater) or a mushahin (one bent on hatred)". (Narrated by Ibn Hibban)
- Sayyidinah Rasullullah said: "Allah looks upon His creatures on the Night of mid-Sha`ban and He forgives all His servants except two: one intent on hatred, and the killer". (Narrated by Tirmizi,Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal and al-Bazzar)
- Sayyidah A'isha Radi Allahu Anha said: "The Prophet stood up in prayer during a part of the night and made His Sajdah so lengthy that I thought His soul had been taken back.
When I saw this I got up and went to move His big toe, whereupon He moved, so I drew back.
When He raised His Head from prostration and finished praying, He said: "O A'isha! O Fair Little One (Humayra')! Did you think that the Prophet had broken His agreement with you?" She replied: "No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah , but I thought that Your Soul had been taken back because your stayed in prostration for so long."
He said: "Do you know what night this is?" She said: "Allah and His Prophet know best."
He said: "This is the night of mid-Sha`ban! Verily Allah the Glorious and Majestic looks at His servants on the Night of mid-Sha`ban, and He Forgives those who ask forgiveness, and He bestows Mercy on those who ask mercy, and He gives delays to the people of Jelousy and Spite in their (bad) state." (Narrated by al-Bayhaqi)
- The famous Taabein scholar, Ka`b al-Ahbar Radi Allahu Anhu said: "Allah sent the Night of 15th of Shaban with Jibreel Alayhis Salaam to Paradise and He ordered Paradise to decorate itself and He announced in Paradise that Allah on that night has freed from hellfire as many persons as the number of stars in the universe."
- It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr Radi Allahu Anhu that Sayyidinah Rasullullah said: "Allah looks with special attention towards His creation on the Fifteenth Night of Sha'baan and forgives all His servants except for a mushrik (idolater) or a mushahin (one bent on hatred). (Ibn Hibban, Sahih)
- Narrated by Sayyidinah Ali Alayhis Salaam that the Prophet stated; “ when it is the 15th Night of Shabaan, do Qiyaam in the night, and fast in the morning, and ask for forgiveness. Because on that night Allah calls: ‘Is there anyone who is asking for forgiveness so that I can forgive them, who is in distress that I may relieve his distress, is there anyone who needs (rizq) food that I may give it to him.’ And this continues till the morning.” (Ibn Majah, Chapter Salaah)
- Sayyidah Aisha Radi Allahu Anha said: “On this night the Prophet went to Jannat-ul-Baqee to make du’a, I followed Him. The Prophet said to me: Allah puts His attention towards the first Heaven, and forgives the sins of the people, even if they were equivalent to the hairs of the goats of Bunn Qalb. (A tribe who at the time had a lot of goats) (Tirmizi, Kitab-us-Siyaam)
- Narrated by Sayyidah Aisha Radi Allahu Anha: I missed Allah's Messenger during the night and found him in al-Baqi'. He said: Were you afraid that Allah and His Messenger would deal unjustly with you? I said: Allah's Messenger , I thought that you had gone to some of your other wives. He said: Verily Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, comes down to the heaven of the world in the Middle Night of Sha'ban and forgives sins even more abundant than the hair of the goats of Kalb. (Reported by Tirmizi - Hadith 1299, Ibn Majah, and Razin who added for those who deserve Hell and Tirmizi said: I heard it from Muhammad (Bukhari) that he deemed it to be a weak hadith.)
- Hazrat Uthmaan bin Abil 'Aas Radi Allahu Anhu narrates that Sayyidinah Rasullullah said: "On the Fifteenth Night of Sha'baan Allah's (special mercy) descends to the nearest heavens. Thereafter, a proclaimer announces:" Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness so that I may forgive him? Is there anyone who desires anything so that I may grant his wishes? Allah thus fulfills the requests of all accept the adulteress and idolator." (Hadith reported by Baihaqi - Durre Manthur, Page 27 Vol.6)
- It is narrated by Abu Musa al-Ash'ari Radi Allahu Anhu that the Messenger of Allah said, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious looks down on the Middle Night of Sha'ban and forgives all His creation except a polytheist or one who is mushahin (innovator in religion and out of the main stream of the community. (Transmitted by Ibn Majah, At Tirmizi Hadith 1306)
- It is narrated by Hazrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As Radi Allahu Anhu that the Messenger of Allah said that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious looks down on the Middle Night of Sha'ban and forgives all His creation except two people, the mushahin and the murderer. (Transmitted by Ahmad.Allah, the Exalted and Glorious looks down on the middle night of Sha'ban and forgives all His creation except two people, the mushahin and the murderer. (Transmitted by Ahmad, At Tirmizi Hadith 1307)
- It is narrated from Sayyidinah Ali Ibn Abu Talib that Allah's Messenger said: "When it is the Night of Sha'ban observe the prayer during the night and observe the fast during the day for Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, descends to the heaven of the world as the sun sets and says: Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness so that I may forgive him? Is there anyone who seeks sustenance so that I may provide for him? Is there anyone in trouble so that I may relieve him, and so on and so forth till the dawn breaks." (Transmitted by Ibn Majah, At Tirmizi Hadith 1308)
- It is recorded in ‘Rauze Al-Afkaar’ that Hazrat Isaa Alayhis Salaam passed near a mountain. He saw a big white stone. Since it was a very different kind of stone, He was looking at it with surprise. The Almighty Allah conveyed to Him, “Would you like to see something more surprising that this?” Hazrat Isaa Alayhis Salaam said, “Yes, my Lord. “The stone burst open and a man came out of if holding a green coloured stick in his hand. There was a grape-tree beside him. The man said, This is my daily food.” Hazrat Isaa Alayhis Salaam asked him, “Since when are you busy worshipping Allah in this stone ?”He replied, “Since four hundred years.” Hazrat Isaa Alayhis Salaam pleaded to Allah, “I feel that you have not created anyone better than this man.”
The Almighty Allah conveyed, "That person from the people of Muhammad who offers two taka’at on the night of 15th Sha’baan will be better than the four hundred year’s worship." Hazrat Isaa Alayhis Salaam said, “I wish I were among the people of Muhammad . Commentators of this narration have said that it was on the 15th of Sha'baan and remarked that on the spot Hazrat Isaa Alayhis Salaam's wish was granted and it is due to this that He will get the opportunity of being among the people of Sayyadinah Muhammad when dajjaal will emerge to spread corruption everywhere. The dajjaal will be killed by Hazrat Isaa Alayhis Salaam. Allahumma Salli Ala Sayyidina wa Mawlaanah Raahati Qulubiana Wa Shafiyyi Zunubina Wa Tabibi Zaahirina Wa Baatinina Muhammadin wa Ala Aalihi Wa Ashaabihi Wa Awliyaai Ummatihi Aajmain Ila Yawmiddeen.

Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Raheem Assalaatu Wassalaamu Alayka Yaa Rasoolallah Sallal Laahu Ta'alaa Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam It is a known fact that each time the Blessed Nights approach the mini heads of satan under the direct supervision of the accursed shaitaan emerge to distract the attention of the Fortunate Servants of Allah from giving special attention to these Blessed Nights. The emergence of the head of Shaita'an was aforesaid by our Beloved Master Sayyadinah Hazrat Muhammad Mustapha . Bukhari :: Book 9 :: Volume 88 :: Hadith 214 Narrated Ibn 'Umar Radi Allahu Anhu: The Prophet said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The People said, "And also on our Najd." He said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The people said, "O Allah's Apostle ! And also on our Najd." I think the third time the Prophet said, "There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan." Bukhari :: Book 2 :: Volume 17 :: Hadith 147 Narrated Ibn 'Umar Radi Allahu Anhu: The Prophet said, "O Allah! Bless our Sham and our Yemen." People said, "Our Najd as well." The Prophet again said, "O Allah! Bless our Sham and Yemen." They said again, "Our Najd as well." On that the Prophet said, "There will appear earthquakes and afflictions, and from there will come out the side of the head of Satan."Eventually the head of Satan emerged and since then the disciples of this specific satan have been murmuring these words: kufr! shirk! bid'ah! - kufr! shirk! bid'ah! - kufr! shirk! bid'ah!.........only Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'alaa knows whether or not when they will breath their last, these three words will be their last words. Allahumma Salli Ala Sayyidina wa Mawlaanah Raahati Qulubiana Wa Shafiyyi Zunubina Wa Tabibi Zaahirina Wa Baatinina Muhammadin wa Ala Aalihi Wa Ashaabihi Wa Awliyaai Ummatihi Aajmain Ila Yawmiddeen.

Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Raheem Assalaatu Wassalaamu Alayka Yaa Rasoolallah Sallal Laahu Ta'alaa Alaihi Wa Aalihi Wa Sallam Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu reported Sayyidinah Rasoolullah Sallal Laahu Ta'alaa Alaihe Wa Sallam as saying: "Jibrail Alayhis Salaam came to me on the night of mid-Sha'ban and said to me: O Muhammad , raise your head heavenwards!" I asked him: "What night is this?" and he replied: " This is the night when Allah (Glorified is He) opens three hundred of the gates of mercy, forgiving all who do not make anything His partner. The only exceptions are those who practice sorcery or divination, are addicted to wine, or persist in usury and illicit sex; these He does not forgive until they repent." At a quarter of the night, Jibrail Alayhis Salaam came down and said: "0 Muhammad , raise your head!" So I looked up, to behold the gates of Paradise wide open. At the first gate an angel was calling: "Good news for those who bow in worship this night!" At the second gate an angel was calling: "Good news for those who prostrate themselves in worship this night!" At the third gate an angel was calling: "Good news for those who offer supplication this night!" At the fourth gate an angel was calling: "Good news for those who make remembrance this night!" At the fifth gate an angel was calling: "Good news for those who weep this night from fear of Allah!" At the sixth gate an angel was calling: "Good news for those who submit this night!" At the seventh gate an angel was calling: "Will anyone ask, that his request may be granted?" At the eighth gate an angel was calling: "Will anyone seek forgiveness, that he may be forgiven?" I said: " O Jibrail, how long will these gates remain open?" He replied: "From the beginning of the night until the break of dawn." Then he said: "0 Muhammad , tonight Allah has as many slaves emancipated from the Fire as the number of woolly hairs on the flocks and herds of Kalb." Ref: Al-Ghunya li-Talibin by Sayyidinah Shaikh Sayyad Abdul Qadir Jilaani Radi Allahu Anhu.Allahumma Salli Ala Sayyidina wa Mawlaanah Raahati Qulubiana Wa Shafiyyi Zunubina Wa Tabibi Zaahirina Wa Baatinina Muhammadin wa Ala Aalihi Wa Ashaabihi Wa Awliyaai Ummatihi Aajmain Ila Yawmiddeen.

Bismillah-hir-Rahman-nir-Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu The hadith of Ibn Hibban and many other ahadith about the 15th of Sha'baan are termed “SAHIH” by classical scholars. Even the salafi scholar nasir ud din albani declared the hadith of 15th Sha'ban as Authentic [Sahih] but wahhabis/salafis still insist that the hadith of Ibn Hibban is not. Some ahadith are daeef [weak] but usuallly sheikh bin baaz (a wahhabi scholar) and group have been using them to wrongly prove Sahih ahadith as daeef.Authenticity of Hadith on Ibn Hibban The usual trick of fooling people is by showing chains of only daeef hadith and trying to claim that all hadiths are daeef. According to usool of hadith if a hadith comes from several chains [as in this case] and even if one hadith is “SAHIH” than other daeef hadith also become “Daeef Sahih” and are accepted as point is proved from a sahih chain. Ibn Hibban hadith is Sahih Ibn Hibban (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) narrated from Mu`adh ibn Jabal (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) in his Sahih the following narration which the hadith scholar and editor of the Sahih Shu`ayb Arna’ut confirmed as sound: The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi wa Sallam) said : " Allah (Azzawajal) looks at His creation in the night of mid-Sha`ban and He forgives all His creation except for a mushrik (idolater) or a mushahin (one bent on hatred)."( Reference: Al-Tabarani: Al-Mu’jam Al-Kabir 20/108-9, Ibn Hibban: Sahih Ibn Hibban 7/470, Al-Bayhaqi: Shu’bal Iman 2/288, Abulhasan Al-Qazwini: Al-Amali 4/2, Ibn ‘Asakir: Al-Tarikh 15/302 & Ibn Abi ‘Asim:Al-Sunna1/224)Note on authenticity :1) Ibn Hibban (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) considered this Hadith to be Sahih. (Ibn Rajab: Lataif Al-Ma’arif 1/224)Further Classification of HadithImam Ibn Hajr al Haythami (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) narrates in his magnificent Majma az Zawaid: Translation: Narrated by Muadh bin Jabal (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) from the Prophet (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi wa Sallam) who said: "Allah (Azzawajal) turns towards His creation in the Night of “MID-SHABAN” and He forgives all of them except for a Mushrik and one who hates other people."Imam Ibn Hajr Haythami (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) says after this hadith: It is narrated by Tabarani (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) in his Al-Kabir and Al-Awsat and “ALL ITS NARRATORS ARE RELIABLE” [Majma az Zawaid, Volume No. 8, Page No. 65, Hadith # 12860]What the wahhabis/salfis ignored is what nasir ud din albani (the salafi scholar) said about the chain in: Silsilah Al-Ahadith Al-Sahihah 3/135 #1144 ) Allah (Azzawajal) turns towards his creation in the Night of “MID-SHABAN” and He forgives all of them except for a Mushrik and one who hates other people (albani calls it); “A SAHIH HADITH” narrated by group of Sahaba with different routes (Turuq) such as from Muadh bin Jabal , Abu Thalbah Abdullah bin Umar, Abu Musa al Ashari, Abu Hurraira, Abu Bakr as Saddiq, Awf bin Malik and Aisha (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhum Aajmain). The Hadith of Muadh bin Jabal (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) comes through Makhul (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) from Malik bin Yakhamir (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) and It is “MARFU” narrated by Ibn Abi Asim (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) in his As-Sunnah Hadith #512 [ nasir ud din albani in Silsilat ul-Ahadith-as Sahiha, Volume No. 3, Page No. 135 #1144]
