Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu[/i] All Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa aalihi wa Sallam)Your mother is the most dearest to you after Allah the Almighty, and the Beloved Messenger Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. I wanted to express my apologies for how seriously ill she was. I hope by the Grace of Allah the Almighty and His Beloved Messenger Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, that she has forgone her operation, and that she is in good health. In addition to the above expression I would like to state that by praying the following du'a, before or even after, at every stage of her illness, that she will gain shifa', by the will of the Allah the Almighty. That du'a is: 'Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim 'aliqann maliqann taliqann khaliqann makhluqann kafiyann shafiyann irtadha murtadha bi haqqi ya budduhu wa nunazzilu minal qur'ani ma huwa shifa'uw wa rahmatul lil mu'minina wa la yaziduz zalimina illa khasara, bi haqqi aasaa taasaa laasaa lusaa liisaa birahmatika ya arhamar rahimin.' 11 times 'Durud Sharif' before, and 11 times 'Durud Sharif' after. As many times as you can, wherever you are. Insha'Allah, Allah the Almighty will grant her shifa'. Please reply with feedback. Jazak'Allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
