If you forget to have sehri is that still a rozi?

Asslmau Alaykum folks, i just wanted to know if someone forgets to wake up near sheri time due to tiredness can they still fast with out eating at sheri time.

Dearest sister have several wake up calls i.e set your alarm clock and mobile phone so you dont forget to wake up for sehri. If you have accidently missed sehri then your fast is valid as long you made intention to fast although it is best to eat or drink at sehri time.

Yes if u fast without sehri then also it is a roza.... but one must remember that if it happens due to forgetfulness it's accepted. It should not be done knowingly as our beloved Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam liked eating sehri and so it is sunnat.

Once or twice it can happen that one does not get up for sehri due to tiredness or whatever reason(forgetfulness) one can continue to fast

We can have farz fast without sehri but nafl fast is not valid without sehri.

Sehri does not man that u eat loads but even a sip of water will fullfill the purpose.

I could not wake up for 1st fast ( i had set the alaram but dont know what happened and when i woke up it was 4:40 and sehri time was out) so, i just made intention of fast and kept my fast without sehri. (even my throat was burning due to thirst).

Then i read fajr prayer and sleep again and when i woke up again approximately at 9'o clock, my throat was ok. Alhamdulilahi rabbil aalameen.

Are u sure abt that.. Bc I thought that niyyat was the most important part and if u have that then ur fast is valid..

According to this fatwa sehri is not a must.. its a sunnat for both farz and nafil roza..
