Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuI think that if the parents think it is fit to take them, then they should. Sometimes there is no other way around it. But I agree it can be very dangerous. There are many stories where people have taken veil because they have fell and been trampled over. Wasalamu Alaykum A top notch thread

Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuOnly when they realize the importance of hajj.. and when they are 10+.. So would this complete the farz or do they have to do a 2nd hajj when it becomes farz..??

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuGive me around a month, Inshah Allah I will be able to answer this thread better informed then ;D Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuYeah that's it and also give me till my time comes and I too will be able to give a more appropriate reply. By the way brother Sarfaraz Mubbarak ho , you have been blessed. No need to ask as I know you'll remember us during Hajj Since it's a top notch thread as qualified by Haafiz Saahib I'll just put a few lines. To be farz it's not farz but what can the poor parents do when Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala includes the children in the package offer, safe or not and if any children is Shaheed there Jannat is assured for him/her and also a defender (in Akhirat) for his/her parents too. Both the children and the parent have nothing to lose. Well , this is what I think Madni Munnah

. So would this complete the farz or do they have to do a 2nd hajj when it becomes farz..?? They would need to repeat the Hajj when older and responsible once it is obligatory. If parents have someone to leave the children with it is best if they do as Hajj can be difficult for both parents and young children. If they have no choice Hajj rituals can be planned accordingly and sensibly. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

well i think it is not safe to let children who are not mature enough to take care of themselves because it gets so crowded on hajj tym that there is alot of pushing about and a little child can easliy get squashed
then again some people have to take there children with them as there is no other way round

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
i don't think it's wise to take children under 10.
i think people should go if they are mentally mature.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu I don't think its a problem if a child goes to Hajj regardless of age, because when one life is over it can happen in at home or in a cave deep in a deserted place. Life is taken on by the will of our Rabb (azza wa jall) I dont know how much it costs for a child to go but if i had the money i would take someone who can not afford it. Imagine the happiness on their faces and the duas they will give. I pray Allah (azza wa jall) blesses all of us to go to Hajj, again and again, Ameen

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhui personally think you shouldn't take young children to hajj not because they may become shaheed or they might get hurt etc... but because it is hard to keep ones temper in the throng of people as not all are very considerate of others. then add a crying child or a misbehaved one and i know that i'd end up losing my temper hence invalidating my hajj. best leave them at home if it's possible and take them umra if you really want to go saudi with them. although the kiddies do look sooo cute in their little ihrams
