HAJJ IN THE LIGHT OF HADITH
The Best Deed
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu anhu narrates that Rasool Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was asked what the best deed was. Rasool Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, "To believe in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and his Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam " He was asked, "After that?" Rasool Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, "To struggle in the path of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala (Jihad)". Someone asked, "After that?" Rasool Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, "An accepted Hajj." (Bukhari and Muslim)

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Great hadith on hajj shared brother Ayaz.
Hadhrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu anhu narrates that Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "Whoever sets out for Hajj, Umrah or Jihad but dies on the journey (before being able to render these obligations), Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala records for him the thawaab of the ghazi (one who returns victorious from the Jihaad field) and the thawaab of one who has performed the Hajj and Umrah." (Mishkaat).
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
