Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuGood question. hmmm we have one lawyer and one civil engineer in pipeline, Best of luck for the career ahead. while in schooling till 8th standard i was good at literature and arts so always thought of becoming a creative writer or lyricist. Then came across tough competition in exams and came to know varied kind of careers... however while at 10th, students were talking of doing MS after they 10 and inter but my thought was to become doctor by taking Bi.P.C in inter coz that was my fav8 profession since childhood. Once my 10th results were out we went for consultation with good professor so he explained pros and cons of career and advised to choose M.P.C and later choose one of good stream in engineering and become engineer....what he insisted was to choose Electrical stream as it does not have any bad impact and can have good change of becoming engineer. Am i going little long nahhhhhhhhh.....hope ur enjoying twist So..now kaha the hum....yup joined iNter....once done with Inter again there was tension to go for counseling...which stream we'll get and what i have to choose, in the year 2002 IT was completely crashed. Baba at that time had a good discussion with one of his friend keeping me in the loop, uncle asked me what u wanted to choose and i said "E.C.E" to become electrical engineer ;D and he asked me y and i gave my kind of reasoning ;D for which he smiled and later after all talks he concluded by giving serious advice. He said "no matter what i want your son to go for IT though it is nothing now...future is all abt computers and by the time ur done with ur engineeing again the computer jobs will sell like cakes and for sure u can be good software engineer" and so i was convinced with his justification....and i took CSIT and once done with Engineering By the Grace of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and through the Sadqah of Habeeb-e-paak Hazrath Sayyidna Mohammad Mustafa Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam i got the job for which i studied and now i a called s/w Engineer ;D.....donno later in the future what i am going to pursue and what i am going to be. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala bless us all with His choicest Blessings and Make all our Jaiz dua qubool and bless us with Healthy Happiness in Imaan, Health and wealth in this world and hereafter.Ameen. Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ;D one day you will realise brother your parents wish was for your benefit only esp in todays world education is necessary. and also we muslims shud not be in any way backward / lesser than non muslims . I will tell you when I and some muslim girls were submitting our college application forms the person who was collecting all the students forms was a non muslim and seeing us in hijab ,he gave a strange look and told --- why are you studying you are a muslim what will you do with so much education , leave this seat any hindu girl will occupy this seat which will surely take her to the top in careers. me and my frnds looked at each other and felt like taking our sandals and .khair anyways we told him you do your job and dont calculate our future . and again when classes started all the lecturers were hindus and very proudy ladies., believe me brother they everytime favoured and encouraged their religion girls and helped them in education as much as they can but see the karamat (miracle of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) my dear friend a muslim girl became gold medalist and all the muslim girls in the class got great % of marks and the lecturer herself told --- these girls with gold medal and good percentages hamare college ki shaan hain I am proud of these girls ;D

Asalaam o Alikum When I was very little I wanted to be a scientist until I found out it's way to hard ;D. As I got older I had these other job I was interested in doing like, author, librarian, and other stuff but I see that I have to make up my mind so I thought that maybe I should be a math teacher or doctor. Jazzakillah for posting question
