Mubarak month of "Al-Noor"

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Assalatu wassalamu alayka Ya Rasool'Allah Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam

First and foremost a very warm welcome to all of you in this Holy Month of Rabi Al Awwal with endless Mercy and Blessings Through the Wasila Mubarak of Habeeb-e-paak Hazrath Sayyidna Mohammad Mustafa Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam.

Al Tabarani Rahmatullahi 'alayh, ibn al-Sakan Rahmatullahi 'alayh and others narrated that when the Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam returned to Madina shareef from the Battle of Tabuk, ‘Abbas ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib Radi Allahu anhu said, ‘O Messenger Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, will you give me leave to praise you?’ The Prophet Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam replied, ‘Speak on, and may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala never spoil your mouth!’

‘Abbas Radi Allahu anhu then said:

Before it, you enjoyed the shades of Paradise,
Within the glade where first the leaves were plucked,

And then to earth you fell, not yet in human form,

Nor yet a piece of flesh within a mother’s womb;

A drop that sailed within the Ark whilst mighty floods

Washed Nasr away, and put pay to his worshippers;

From loin to womb you travelled through the ages,

And all the while worlds passed on, each by each;

The fire beneath the Friend of Allah diminished:

With you within its loins, how could he burn?

Until your line, preserved from any fault, arrived

To Khandaf, a plateau above a wide expanse;

Upon your birth, the earth was bathed in brightness,

And by your light the far horizons shone,

And we, beneath this brightness and this radiance,

Burn gladly in the glory of your guiding light.
