you still have to buy the yougurt to make the yougurt so anyone like me would just eat the bought yougurt. Pakeeza rules Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhui have to agree when it cost's next to nothing to buy it i can't be bothered to waste time making it especially as you need to buy yogurt to make the yogurt ;D although for me it's not pakeeza it has to be tesco or asda natural yogurt!!! i can't stand the asian one's they're so watery and slightly lumpy. although has anyone tried to make shrikhand at home? the sweet indian yogurt very easy and very tasty...

Nah never heard of shrikhand. (hope I never made a mistake in spelling that) You find pakeeza runny? Because the last time I checked it was quite hard but soft if you know what I mean. It wasnt watery but it wasnt rock hard eitheir. You hit a spoon in it and it breaks straight through and you can get out as much as you want. But yeah it can be lumpy. Nothing a bit of beating cant sort out. Hey sister fatma!!! I think its cheaper than the asda and tesco yogi. You cant lose with pakeeza.

@ sister fatima - u mean LASSI - Right Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhuno brother lassi is a drink shrikhand which i think is a gujarati dish is made by draining all the excess water from yogurt and then it is sweetened with sugar, elaichi and saffron. very good for hot summer days as it's cooling especially after a spicy dish. to drain all the water you usually have to leave it overnight in a very fine sieve which is made of cloth.
