Asalam a Alaikum, I have problem to wake up for fajr prayer, kindly someone guide me how to get rid of this problem.. Rehan Welcome to the forum young brother and well done for having the right intention for praying your salaah without fail. I would get your circle of Muslim friends to give you missed calls for fajar namaaz which may prompt you to get out of bed. My nephew shared with me before going to bed look over to your right shoulder ask the angels to wake you up for fajar and repeat over your left shoulder and it works insha Allah. Please click on Profile and disclose your location as per forum rules. JazakAllah Khayran Wasalaam

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Here a tip for if everything else fails....:
"Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked how was the bed of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) in your house'' she replied: 'It was a canvas folded into two, which was spread for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) to sleep on. On one night I thought if I folded it into four and spread it, it would become softer. I folded it and spread it that way. In the morning the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) asked: 'What did you spread for me last night'' I replied: 'It was the same bed; I only folded it into four so that it may become softer'. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: 'Leave it in its original form. Its softness deprived me of my prayers (Tahajjud) at night.'
So If your bed is too soft and too comfortable, its logical that you don't want to leave it! So that's why our Prophet slept on a hard mat, so he could get up for tahajjud...

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Brother, if you don't get enough sleep, you can also take naps! Rasoolullaah Salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam also took naps, so it's a sunnah. You could try taking a power nap every day, between 30-40 minutes. I also do this and Alhamdulillah, I wake up for fadjr. ;D Fi Amanillah

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuHere brother try this and tell me the results Do fresh wuzu and be Halath E Taharat (be pure and clean...no halath e janabat) and sit on your bed. Then read 3 times Durood Shareef and then Surah Ikhlas 3 times and then again 3 times Durood Shareef. Then say Oh Qazi Rehan (or whatever your name is) wake me up at so and so time. Then go to sleep without doing anything or talking. Inshallah it will wake you up. Dont ask questions from me about it. Just do it and let us know how it goes.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAgreed..! its just waste of money.. u could try ur mobile with alarm clock + snooze option.. after 3, 5, 10 or 15 min or so for x-times... and if that doesnt work then also turn on vibrating option and put it on a table or so..

Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu
Assalaatu Wassalaamu Alayka Ya Rasoolallah Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa SallamNote: Read Durood Shareef, once at the beginning and once at the end of every recitation. If you do not see or notice any benefit then instead of complaining, consider your own mistakes and keep in mind the will of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'ala.. For awakening in night:It was found written by a certain sage, that anyone who recites this verse before retiring to bed, he will be able to get up at any time he desires. And remember the time when We made The House a place of worship for the people and a place of safety. And take the Maqam Ibrahim as a place of performing Salaah. And We decreed to Ibrahim and Isma’il that they should purify My House for those who observe Tawaaf of it and those who observe Ruku and those who observe Sajdah (in prayers) Al Baqarah 125 Anyone who recites the first 5 verses of the last Ruku of Surah Al-Imran before going to bed, his Iman will remain intact and he will be able to wake up at any time he desires without any assistance whatsoever.Arabic - LinkVerily in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day there are (mighty) signs for men of understanding- Those men of understanding who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides, and keep reflecting on the wonders of the creation of the heavens and the earth (and admit saying): “Our Lord! You have not created all this (Universe) in vain. Glory be to You! Save us Lord! from the torment of the Blazing Fire. “Our Lord! whomsoever You cause to enter Hell, him You have surely disgraced, and for the wrongdoers there shall be no helpers. “Our Lord! we have heard a proclaimer calling to Faith (saying): ‘Believe in your Lord;’ so we have come to believe. Our Lord! forgive us our sins, and wipe off our misdeeds from us and cause us (in all grace) to die with the righteous. “Our Lord! grant us that which You have promised to us through Your Apostles and disgrace us not on the Day of Reckoning. Surely You never fail in your Promise. Al Imran 190,194
