As-Salaam alaikum,
There are several secrets and/or benefits that are contained in the blessed Surat al-Fatiha.. the first chapter in the Holy Qur'an. The Noble Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, was quoted saying that whoever reads Surat al-Fatiha once, it is as if he has read the different Holy Books of az-Zaboor, at-Tawraat, al-Injeel, al-Qur'an (Psalms, Old Testament, New Testament and the Qur'an).
One of the names of Surat al-Fatiha is al-Maahiyya... the one that erases, erases what? It erases everything that is bad, it erases all our sins... all bad characters, all power of your ego and all that is related to Shaytan even if you don't feel it being erased!
Surat Fatiha is Allah's Divine Words... there is no beginning or end to the reward and benefit we get from it. Recite Surat Fatiha regularly....
