As-Salaam alaikum, Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, related:--
"When Sayyadina Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam) was born, Ridwan, the keeper of Paradises, spoke in his ear saying: 'Rejoice, oh, (Sayyadina) Muhammad, whatever knowledge any other Prophet has, you have been given that knowledge. Therefore, you are the most knowledgeable and the most courageous of heart, among them."
And again, Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said that Sayyada Amina, may Allah be pleased with her, said:--
"When I gave birth to the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam), with him came out a light that lit the space between the east and west. He then fell on the ground, and leaning on his hands, took a handful of soil, grasped it, then raised his head toward Heaven."
Al-Tabarani narrates that when he, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, fell on the ground, he had his fingers drawn together, with the index finger pointing, testifying to the Oneness of Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
