Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Sisters I thought I would start a new thread for Salaat ul Ghausiyyah, as more sisters would view and it would benefit all you sisters, as it really does work and I often pray this Salaat, in times of need.
Shaykh Sayyadina Abd'al-Qadir al Jilani (Radi Allahu ta'ala Anhu). Ghawth al-A'zam said that;
"Whosoever in his distress cries to me for help, he will be relieved of his distress; whosoever in his difficulty calls by my name, his difficulty will be solved; whosoever in his time of need-makes me as his intermediary to Allah Ta’ala , his needs will be fulfilled. Any person who performs 2 rakaats Namaaz in which after Surah Fateha, recites Surah Ikhlas 11 times and then making salam sends Darood on the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala Alayhi wa Sallam), the garden of mercy after which he thinks of me and takes 11 steps towards the direction of Iraq calling my name, then presents his need, with Allah Ta’ala’s permission his need will be fulfilled."
The Namaaz is known as Salaat al-Asrar or Salaat al-Ghausiyyah :
Which is a proven means of obtaining fulfillment of one’s needs and prayers. Salaat al-Asrar is explained by Imam Abd'al Hassan Nuruddeen Alli Ibn Jaleel in Bahjat al-Asrar, and Hadrat Mullah Ali Qari and Shaykh Abd'al Haq Muhaddith Dhelvi (Radi Allahu ta'ala Anhum) have reported from Hadrat Ghawth al-A'zam (Radi Allahu ta'ala Anhu). Its method is as follows: After completing the Fard and Sunnat of Maghrib Namaz, Offer 2 rakaats and in each rakaat after Surah Fateha recite 11 times Surah Ikhlas, then recite this dua 11 times:
''Ya Rasul Allah hey ya Nabi Allah Hey Aghisni was Amdidni fi Qadi’ ai hajati ya Qadi yal hajat."
Then taking 11 steps in the direction of Iraq read the following on each step:
"Ya Ghaus-saqa-lainey ya Karim mat-tarfainey aghisni wa amdidni fi Qada-e hajati ya Qadi yal hajat."
Thereafter, making the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta'ala alaihi wa aalihi Sallam) as the intermediary present one’s needs and desires to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala).

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuA good thread. I remember praying this and it really does help and works! If we have yakin then inshallah our prayers will be answered. Well said! It is all to do with yakeen. If you don't believe in a prayer, you will never reap it's blessings. And I think, this goes for most things. Jazakallah Sr. AR for such an informative post. I have never personally read this Salaah, so with this post acting like a reference, I will inshallah pray it in the future. Ya Ghaus Al-Azam Al-madad!

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Yes sisters you are right , what ever we pray, we must have full faith and believe in our Prayers as any doubt, then the prayer will be pointless and void. Our hearts must be clean of doubt, and full Yakin and faith must be observed for our prayers to be answered! Ameen.
Here is a post brother Qasim left on the Giarwih Sharif Thread, which I thought would benefit the sisters.
Ghaus -ul-Azam Hazrat Mohiyyuddin Abdul Qadir Jilani (Rehmatullahi ’Alaih) has stated that any person who wanted respect and wealth in this world, should recite Surah Ikhlas 3 times, with Durood Sharif recited 3 times beforehand and after it. In addition, after Farz Salaah recite the Ayat given below. Whilst reciting the Ayat, look up towards the sky.
" Wa main- yat- ta qillah yaj-al lahu makh-ra-jaoo(n) wa yar-zukh-hu minn hai-so la yah-ta-sib wa main-yat-tawal-Allal-lahi faho-wa has-bo-hu, inna-lah ba-le-go am-re-hi qad ja-allal-laho le-kul-li shai-in qadra."
On completion of his Wazaif, Ghaus al-Azam, Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani (Rehmatullahi ’Alaih) used to recite this Durood Sharif mentioned below. The Saints say that one who recites this Durood ten times daily in the morning and ten times in the evening, will be nearer to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala); recieve innumerable mercies and will be saved from every evil. All difficulties of the reciter are solved.
Durood-e-Ghausia.
Alla- humma salli ala Saiyi-dina Muhammadi-nis-saa-bi-qi lil-khal-qi noo-ru-hu wa Rahma-tu lil-alameena zu-hoo-ru-hu a-da-da mam-ma-daa min khal-ki-ka wa mam-ba-qi-ya wa man sa-i-da min-hum wa man sha-qi-ya salaa-tan tas-tag-ri qul-ad-da wa tu-hee-tu bil-hadi salaa-tal-laa gaa-ya-ta la-haa wa-laa mun-ta-haa wa-lan-qi-daa-a sala-tan da-e-ma-tan bi-da-waa-mi-ka wa ala aalihi wa sah-bihi wa sal-lim tas-lee-mam-mis-la zaa-li-ka.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuYes sister, you can pray it any time, besides Fajar and Asr time as you know you can not pray any other namaz during those times. This salaat is to pray in time of need and help, by having faith in Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam) and Hadrat Abdul Qadir Jilani (Radi Allahu anhu)we are asking them to intercess in our prayers, and plead for us in the Court of Almighty Allah to answer our prayers. The Key as said before is having full faith and Insha Allah your prayers will be answered.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
This is another Salaat and a very very powerful Salaat and it is called Istikhara e Ghausiya. I got this from the Imam board, but i also have it in My Shijra Sharif, and I have also prayed this Salaat as well.
'To seek from the Noble Ghawth al A'zam (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu), first one must make ablution, then one must perform two cycles of superogotory (nafil) Istikhara prayer. After the salaam, the surah Fatihah alongwith the Bismillah, and the Third Kalima Tamjid must be recited 11 times. Then one must recite 'Ya Shaykh Abd al Qadir aghithni' 11 times.
Once again, two cycles of superogotory (nafil) prayer is to be recited, in such a way that, when one reaches 'Nasta'in' in the first rak'ah of the 'Fatihah', one must shut his eyes tight, and loosen his body, while reciting 'Ihdi nas sirat al mustaqim'. He must keep on reciting this until the face sways to the left or right, and when it does , he must complete the 'Fatihah'. He must then recite the 'Fatihah' another 10 times, so that it makes 11. He will then recite surah 'Ikhlas' (Qul Huwallah) 11 times and then go into 'ruku', and then 'sujud' etc. In the second rak'ah, he will then recite 11 times the 'Fatihah', and 11 times the 'Ikhlas', and finish his prayer with 'ruku', and 'sujud', normally.
If the face had turned to the right, the deed can be continued, or one should go ahead with what one intended. However, if it turned to the left, one should not go ahead with that deed. After a period of three days, insha'Allah, by performing this 'Istikhara' on each day, one should do/not do, according to the result. This istikhara is established and experienced.
Note: Do not dwelve in to matters of those who say, this is 'bid'ah, or 'shirk', as this is far from it. Help can be granted to anyone, from whomever Allah wills, especially those who are close to His Proximity.
May Allah the Almighty help us all to be guided, and to seek guidance, in the manners prescribed by those who are close to Him, and may He fulfill eveyones wishes, in that respect.

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, Jazakallah for a very informative post on Istikhara e Ghausiya Sr. Ashiqe Rasool. Yes, I too have read about this in my Shijra. I know many people who have performed this salaah in particular in their search for a suitable partner for marriage. We all need guidance on important matters from time to time, and what better way than to seek help from the 'Greatest Helper', Ghaus al-Azam, pirane pir dastagir!
