Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam You should try and tell your friend, that everything is beautiful in Islam, yet Islam doesnt seek to see who is beautiful, but what is it (deed), that is beautiful. For example, having good manners is beautiful, praying salah is beautiful, donating money for charity is beautiful, and the list goes on and on... Allah does not make two people look the same, so she can quit, thinking that she wants to be like so and so, however, has she ever pondered over what it would have been like, if she was born with a scar, or if she was slightly darker, or had a limb missing, was lame, blind, or even dumb? If Allah willed He would have made her like that, but because He didnt, we should take time out, and thank Him, be Grateful to Him, oblige Him, and remeber Him for all the favours He has done for us, of not making us like x, or like y, or z. May Allah the Almighty help us all to be content with what blessings He has given us (Amin). Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
