Assalaamualaikum,
I have a question regarding deja vus, or moments when one feels that he/she has lived that very experience once before. This happens to me quite often. I will be doing something and all of sudden I'll feel or realize that I have experience that exact moment once before, like in a dream. What does Islam say about this? I know many other people that go through the same thing. Are we just imagining it? Is Allah giving us a glimpse of the future in our dream or subconscious minds? Kindly elaborate on this phenomenon.
JazaakAllah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam To be quiet blunt, Islam has more important things to say about itself rather than just moments that keep re-appearing. What is worth mentioning is the fact that can we have, again those moments of history which were once enjoyed by the 'Greats' of the religion? Can we create that feeling of theirs within ourselves by following their footsteps? Are we sincere enough to acknowledge the above in the eyes of the Almighty? Once these questions can be answered, or an effort made to answer them, are other questions relevant? Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM.
