Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH
I am sharing with you all my wonderful/memorable experience of my journey of Hajj I hope you all enjoy it. This is joint effort by me and my husband Imran.
How It all Began
Earlier in the year of 2006 I dreamt I was in Madina shareef it felt so real and then I became adamant that I had to perform my Hajj as soon as possible. As I believe I received a personal invite from Sarkar e Do Alam Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.
I have done two umrah's one in 1994 with my beloved father and one in 1996 two weeks before I got married with my dear parents and a neice so Hajj was due upon me.
I made plans to do Hajj with my husband (his second Hajj) my husbands brother his wife and also my father in law planned to do Hajj also.
I made all the necessary preparations in the summer holidays like vaccinations and book holidays from etc so far no problems.
My initial plans were to travel to Pakistan and then Hajj to drop my sons off to be cared for by my husbands family, due to visa delays seats got cancelled. I had two choices either to take them with me or leave them behind with my brother who had originally offered to look after them. My father and father in law advised us to leave them. I am so glad I did as it would have been very difficult. I am ever so grateful to my brother/bhabi and their teenage children Halima and Faizaan may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala reward them well inshallah

We were on the second floor I was sharing with 2 other women whilst my husband was in the bedroom next door sharing with2 men.
18th DECEMBER
Woke for tahajjud went to the Masjid with my husband, I had to pray outside as it was busy as I had no prayer mat with me it was very cold. My husband went to the roza mubarak whilst I went back to the hotel. I arranged with my room mates to to the Roza mubarak as the women's timing was 7-11 and 1 -2pm. Women had to go to gate number 25 a long walk we were asked which group we belonged to we said pakistani, we had to go and wait by the Pakistan group we had to go to the Roza Mubarak group by group. I was so impatient and longing to visit Madni Aqa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam sat reading darood shareef met a friends mother from Derby.
Finally got to go in tears rolling gave my salaam as well as family's and friends and not forgetting salam from members of the forum. Did dua for all the Muslims. Read four Nafil at Riazul Jannat (gardens of Jannat),sent salaam to Hazrat Abu Bakar Radi Allahu anhu and Hazrat Omar Radi Allahu anhu, we were told to leave. I could not wait for my next visit.

29th DECEMBER 9th DHUL HIJJAH HAJJ DAY
It is Akbari Hajj how fortunate and lucky I am very excited there were 25 British Groups we were allocated number 6 meaning we were the sixth group to leave for Arafat from Mina. Arrived at Arafat for 11am got allocated camp with over 30 women great atmosphere alot of worship, zikar darood shareef and of course talibay and duas for all, felt at peace reflecting on how lucky and blessed I am. Just before sunset all stepped out their camps and did group dua in English/Arabic/Urdu very emotional no eye was dry.
We got allocated number 21 to go to Muzalifa in another words were the last to leave Arafat.
Arrived at Muzalifa for 11pm. We gathered some pebbles had a cup pa and rested woke well before tahajjud it was very very cold I was shivering. Rang The UK spoke to my sons and parents.
30th DECEMBER 10 DHUL HIJJAH
After fajar set off back to Mina not by coach but by foot dropped off our luggage and set off for the Jamrahs (stoning) once again by foot. We were nervous all the stories we heard but alhamduliallah stoning was not a problem I stood right in front of the jamrah and did the stoning after completion started our journey by foot to Mecca Shareef took us 2 hours.
Read Zuhar namaaz checked if our qurbani was done we were told it would be done by 3.30 decided to go for a nap. Qurbani is done restrictions of ihram are lifted showered and changed, my husband shaved his own hair this time as he also did his brothers and fathers. All five of us set off for haram shareef for tawaafe Ziyarat took us an hour to complete. Read Isha father in law is treating us as its Eid. Burger king it was yes I had a beef Burger

31st DECEMBER 11 DHUL HIJJAH
After Zuhar set off for the stoning of the 3 jamrahs after I stoned small jamrah some Nigerians women charged forward towards me and my father in law had to put his arms around me to move me out of the way other wise I would have got injured. Back to Mina took us 2 hours. Alhamduliallah no problems back in time fot Asar. After Isha there was mehfil naath and zikar which was very good.
1st JANUARY 12 DHUL HIJJAH
After my husband and his brother took our luggage from mina to mecca via bus so that after stoning we did not need to return back to Mina. After zuhar set off for stoning on arriving at small jamrah police were directing us the other directing us the other way there had been a stampede minutes before. After stoning straight to Mecca Shareef in time for Asar. Met another hajj group from Derby met several friends which was nice and pleasant.
2nd JANUARY 13 DHUL HIJJAH
Did extra tawaaf again just before zuhar I am meeting sister saiba today my treat for lunch . Shes on a fries diet ;D went back to her hotel whilst my husband met up with her brother.
3rd January 14 DHUL HIJJAH
After Tahajjud time did Alwada Tawaaf a very sad time took an hour. Read fajar. Our coaches are expected after Zuhar for Jeddah Airport my father in law is leaving for Madinah Shareef so we saw them off. Our buses are delayed hooray we are now leaving after Isha so we decided to do another tawaaf after zuhar this time on second floor not very busy still took us an hour. Did a lot of farewell duas for all. Left Mecca shareef at 9pm arrived at Jeddah Airport for midnight. Flight was at 5.25am but guess what its delayed till 2pm all Hajj flights are delayed.
Arrived back on British soil at stanstead Airport at 8pm my father and younger brother have come to collect me arrived back home at 12.30am.
My sons are fast asleep stayed the night at my brothers my sons have got flowers and garlands for us.
The whole experience was fantastic the five hajj days were spiritually/mentally and physically rewarding. I was nervous about them but no problems. I have a foot condition have been advised not to walk too much the amount of walking I did I surprised everyone and the foot problem seems to have gone mashallah
Madinah Shareef was sensational everything about madinah shareef was subhanallah beautiful and peaceful.
I managed to read one quran and 6 paray and did enough ibadat that I possibly could may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala accept my hajj and calls all those that have not yet been. My mind/heart is still in Madina/mecca shareef. I am planning my umrah already inshallah.
I hope you enjoyed reading my diary plese forgive if any mistakes.
Jazakallah
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
