What i find disturbing, but have been told is the normal now is that many haajis have to wait till the last minute to find out if they have been given a visa ?
After months of planning, preparing mentally, booking time off work, leaving young children with relatives, and the general woory and anticipation .... but to be told at the death hours before you are expected to go by some red tape or whatever is ridiculous.

My mind/heart is still in Madina/mecca shareef. I am planning my umrah already inshallah. I hope you enjoyed reading my diary plese forgive if any mistakes. Jazakallah Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
Respected Sister until you are Inshah Allah back again for your Umrah, Huzoor Sarwar-e-Qainaat Sallallaahu Alaihe Wa Sallam kay waastay please give a small place to each of us in your Mind/Heart as long as same Inshah Allah remains in Madina/Mecca Shareef, especially in your Duahs. This may seem strange Dear Sister, but it is true - even when we mentally travel to a certain place the effect of that place does affect oneself spiritually. After visiting Blessed Places, when the mind is back it does not come empty handed. What is brought back varies according to each individual. It's a true fact difficult to prove but as long as our Mind/Heart accept (including their sayings) those who are chosen by Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'alaa to be His Friends, everything becomes clear and acceptable without any question or doubt. Allahu Ackbar!
Your Diary is and the only mistake (already forgiven) is that you have not described the taste of those fresh dates.
Assalaato Wassalaamo Alaika Ya Rasullallah Sallallaahu Alaihe Wa Sallam Assalaato Wassalaamo Alaika Ya Nabiyallah Sallallaahu Alaihe Wa Sallam Assalaato Wassalaamo Alaika Ya Habiballah Sallallaahu Alaihe Wa Sallam

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu, Jazakallah Sr. Nomee. I enjoyed reading your diary. I bet you felt like time flew whilst you were there. You know what they say, "time flies when you're having fun".... thats spiritual 'fun' in your case. Jazakallah for making du'a for us all, that we too get bulawa soon. Jazakallah also for sending salaams to our Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam on our behalf. Dar pe bulalo Makki Madani Bigri banado Makki Madani

28th DECEMBER 8th DHUL HIJJAH
29th DECEMBER 9th DHUL HIJJAH HAJJ DAY
It is Akbari Hajj how fortunate and lucky I am very excited there were 25 British Groups we were allocated number 6 meaning we were the sixth group to leave for Arafat from Mina. Arrived at Arafat for 11am got allocated camp with over 30 women great atmosphere alot of worship, zikar darood shareef and of course talibay and duas for all, felt at peace reflecting on how lucky and blessed I am. Just before sunset all stepped out their camps and did group dua in English/Arabic/Urdu very emotional no eye was dry.
We got allocated number 21 to go to Muzalifa in another words were the last to leave Arafat.
Arrived at Muzalifa for 11pm. We gathered some pebbles had a cup pa and rested woke well before tahajjud it was very very cold I was shivering. Rang The UK spoke to my sons and parents.
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamAl-Humdolillah, a great account which took me back to my Haj experience Sister Nomee. You truly are blessed and lucky to have performed an Akbari Hajj. Reading your diary took me back to Arafat, and that to me was the climax of My 5 days of Haj experience, all I could think about was the day of Qiyyamat and how we would all decend on the plains of Arafat. A great read, Jazak allah khair for sharing your spritual experience with us.
