ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam
Excellence of Arafat and fasting on the Day!
In Hadith it is reported about the day of Arafat, (9th Zill Hajj), that no day is more exalted than this day in the sight of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala looks at the earthly heavens with extreme mercy and love on this day. He says with pride to the angels, "Look at my bondmen, they are covered in dirt, no covering on their heads, putting up with tremendous heat. They have come from far and wide seeking my Mercy. More people will gain freedom from the fire on this day than any other day"
The Mother of the believers, Hazrat Aisha Siddiqa radiallah ta'ala anha narrates that Beloved Rasool Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said, "Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala frees more of His bondmen on the day of Arafat from the fire than on a ny other day. Then he mentions them with pride to the angels." (Muslim, Nisai, Ibn Majah)
Beloved Rasool Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said "I have Trust in Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala that fasting on the 9th of Zill hajj will eradicate the previous years and the coming years sin."(Muslim, Abu Daud, Tirmizi)
Hazra Aisha Siddiqa Radi Allahu anhu states that Beloved Rasool Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam used to regard fasting on the 9th of Zill Hajj more important than fasting thousands of other days, and the means to have 2 years sins wiped away, the year that had passed and the coming year. (Fatawa E Razvia Part 4, Page 659)
Those that are performing Hajj are not allowed to fast on the 9th of Zill Hajj, because the Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam forbid people that were performing pilgrimage from fasting on that day.
So brothers and sisters try to fast and gain sawaab inshAllah.
