Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved and Final Messenger, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam).Jazak'Allah for your valued question dear brother. Salaah is fard and is performed according to the way the Shar'iyyat has prescribed. It includes Qiyaam, Ruku', Sujud, Jalsah etc. The people of the Tariqah offer similar prayer to that of the shar'iyyah, only that they are in a state of worship, (often referred to as ' namaz'), all the time, otherwise there is no difference in the two. This reference of their ' namaz' often leads them to believe that they are in a state of worship, but does not mean that they are free from performing the namaz' that we perform, because they already are in that state. This would be fisq, and a fasiq, can never be a 'sahib-e-shar'iyyat/tariqat. May Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) give us all the tawfiq, to stay in a state of worship, all the time.Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
