Assalam-u-Laykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu,
Imam Saheb i hope You are in the best of health.
I have come across the following and would appreciate it if you could verify this:
a friend of mine related this to me, he stresses that this should not be used as a means to miss Salat but as a method to lessen the burden of missed Salat.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa SallamJazak'allah for your question. This may be true. There may be a book called 'Anis al Arwah' authored by Hadrat Khawaja Gharib Nawaz Rehmatullahi ta'ala ’Alaih, and the hadith narrated also true. But the question is that are we in a similar position of Hadrat Khawaja Gharib Nawaz Rehmatullahi ta'ala ’Alaih, and Hazrat Khawaja Usman Haruni Rehmatullahi ta'ala ’Alaih, who spent their lives in the ibadah of the Almighty, to act upon that particular hadith? If we are not, then we should carry on doing our own ibadah, as theirs was accepted in the presence of Allah the Almighty, and we do not know about the acceptance of our own ibadah. We should try and follow the footsteps of the Khawajagan of the Chishtiyyah Order, so that we can reach to a level of servanthood. If we cant, then no matter how many nafils we pray, Allah the Almighty wont even accept those, let alone our fard salah. I hope you are following the logic of the hadith, and to whom it was directed. It should not, in any way try and be an excuse for us to try and neglect our five times salah. May Allah the Almighty give us all the strenghth to perform five times salah, which is accepted in His eyes, and may He keep us all firm upon it. (Amin)Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
