Bismillahir Rahmanir RaheemAssalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH I pray that you and your family are in the best of health and Islamic Spirit. I have been looking through the archives and I have another couple of queries regarding Qadha Salaat. In the Shijra published by the Mohaddis e Azam mission it states that Qadha Salaat consists of 4 rakaats and when doing Qadha for witr to get up from the Quaida of the 3rd rakaat and add 1 more rakaat, what exactly does this mean? I had always thought that you pray the amount of Rakaats you missed ie. 2 for the Fardh of Fajr, 4 for the Fardh of Zuhr etc... Also in one of the other questions you say that you can pray Qadha during Asr time but I thought you couldn't pray any other Namaaz during Asr? I want to make up for the namaaz I have missed since becoming a Muslim but want to be sure i do it the correct way. Look forward to your reply. Fi Amanillah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Jazak'allah for your question. The four Rakahs the shajrah is speaking about is the 4 fard of the Isha Salat, as the witr will only remain 3 rakahs. Or, because in the shajrah it is talking about 4 rakahs, the witr has been included, and the 1 extra rakah, has been added, since it is speaking of 4. However, witr will only have three rakahs, and that is what will be performed. After 'Asr salah, no salat is permissible, however if it is your 'Asr salah that you have not performed in congregation, and time is running out, then you must perform your 'Asr salah. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala give us all the tawfiq to worship Him in the correct manner prescribed. Amin.Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
