Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuPraise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, Last, and Final Messenger, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam)Jazak'Allah for your question dear Sister in Islam. Although the actual problem of your friend cannot be identified, it is necessary, that both your friend, and her husband pray the five times Salaah, everyday. So many people, disregard the five times daily prayer everyday, that they dont even know what benefit it carries for this world, and the benefits that it shall carry, in the next life. Recitation of the Qur'an al kareem, (at least one hundred Ayahs per day) should be recited, as there is no wazifah, that is greater than praying your five times Salaah, and reciting the Noble Qur'an. The Qur'an al kareem states :'faqra'u ma tayassara minal Qur'an'
'Therefore recite how much is easy, out of the Qur'an'. Then it states :'faqra'u ma tayassara min hu wa aqimus salata wa atuz zakata'
'Therefore recite as much of it as is easy for you, and keep up Salaah, and pay the Zakaah'. (Surah al Muzammil, al Qur'an) It must be remembered, that the best wazifah, in the whole world is the recitation of the Qur'an al kareem. Even in your salaah, you recite the Qur'an al kareem. In addition, all the wazifah's, which are the most effective, are deriven from the Qur'an al kareem. Let us turn to another recitation: 'Allahumma salle wa sallim 'ala syedina Muhammadin qad daaqat hilati adrikni ya Rasul Allah'This recitation is a form of 'Durood Shareef'. Any 'Durood Shareef' can be recited alternatively, as the hadiths state that your ten sins are erased, ten of your stations are increased, and ten rewards are written for you. Allah the Almighty loves these two sentences. And the reciter can gain benefit from reciting: 'Subhanallahi wa bi hamdi hi subhan Allahil 'Azim'
(Bukhari) Similarly, if you recite Subhanallah 33 times, Alhamdu lillah, 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 33 times, this should also erase any difficulties that you are having. This is also proven from the ahadith. The key to all difficulties is: 'Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul 'arshil 'azim'.This is what is recited for the turmoils of the world and hereafter. It should be read continuously after the Fajar, and after the Maghrib prayer, 7 times, Insha'Allah you will gain the freedom from all forms of difficulty. And finally, if someone is engaged in sorrow and grief, he should read 'Ya Muqsitu' three thousand times. Insha'Allah, all the sorrow and grief shall be erased, and he/she shall eventually recieve happiness. May Allah the Almighty help us all to do the 'A'maal that are fard first, and then may we perform additional supplications for our needs, later. (Amin)Wallahu Alamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
