FORCED MARRIAGES

Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

My question was about the forced marriage .. if your parents want you to get married to some one not of your choice and although you dont want to get married to that particular person but due to the emotional black mailing by your parents that if you wont marry him/her you wont get our love........is this thing right to do?

Generally you should be able to marry whomever you wish as long as you have your parents consent, as keeping them happy as well as yourself is necessary.
