Assalamalykum I have question which I would please like to be answered by Hadrat . I appreciate Hadrat is probably busy but it is a pressing issue and it is a matter of someones life. A friend has given his wife talaaq more than 3 times in anger. I understand the talaaq has now been given and the wife is out of his nikaah My question is what does he have to do in order to get her back in her nikaah? I have been told that the wife can do nikaah with a third person then the third person divorces her and after her iddat she may remarry. But the issue is that in the marriage which is done to the third person do they have to consummate? I.e have sexual relation? Or can it be nikaah then talaaq then iddatt then remarry original marriage. Please reply ASAP. May allah SWT bless us all. Ahle sunnah zindabaad jazaakalah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam You are quite correct in stating: 'do they have to consummate? I.e have sexual relation?' Yes they do. He must have full satisfaction of the woman becoming his wife, afterwhich he will divorce her, and then she will re-marry her original husband. (obviusly with respect to the due timescales). Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
