Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam You have to be very careful in Islam, with such breakages, as words sometimes can take effect of a divorce occurring, especially if the breakage is over a long period of time. If however, there were no words exchanged then this will not apply. The worst thing in the eyes of Allah the Almighty, is the divorce, so we have to try and avoid it, as much as possible. Since your sister is now on good terms with your brother in law, and it seems that you will become on good terms with your husband, you shouldnt really take any action which would otherwise jepeordise your relationship with your husband. The point to mention here, is that your marriage with your husband is different to the marriage of your sisters, and this should not in any way, be a deciding factor, of whether your marriage should really exist or not, it should rather be independant of that. I wish that everything works out for the best for you, and supplicate that Allah the Almighty safegards the sunna of His Beloved Messenger Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, through the means of people like yourselves. (Amin). Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
