Assalaamoe ‘alaikoem Assalaatoe wassalaamoe 'alaika yaa Ras oelallaah(S.A.W) I just want everyone to consider this ( look at: Attachment) about the Coca Cola logo. After knowing this about the Coca Cola logo, does it become forbidden? I think it is good to look if it’s done intentionally or not. I found the information through this link: www.snopes.com/cokelore/islam.asp; it contains more information about the topic so check it out quickly. And Allah knows best… Assalaamoe ‘alaikoem

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu Thanks for your concern, however I just wanted to clarify that the sign of the coca-cola logo, which is read backwards has no real meaning. I mean this is just one of those findings, which tend to turn to peoples attention more than anything else. Although the recent doubt of it's permissability/impermissability to drink, nevertheless, i dont think that the logo was in fact created intentionally to be read backwards as that. It is not evidence to prove anything, nor has it the permit/basis of asserting that it is forbidden. Allah the Almighty knows the best.M. Waseem Ashrafi
