Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Any creams, shampoos, gels, balms, or lotions which contain any kind of animal substances, which are not halal for the Muslim to consume, are not permissable to use on the skin, or anywhere else. It is stated in the hadith that the halal is made clear to you and the haram has been made clear to you, so what is halal is permissable, and what is forbidden, is non permissable (na Ja'iz, i.e haram). Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
