Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim Wa'laykum as-Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu, There is a Hadith-ash-Sharif, which states that no angels of the Mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala ever enter into that house which contain pictures, or animals. This also includes statues. However, where an animal is kept, for example, a dog, in the case of security, then it may be allowed, as this is not kept for pleasure. If you do any form of 'ibaadah, where there is any of these, then your salaah will have to be performed again, as the 'ibaadah you have done will not count. I hope that this answers your question that you have asked. May Allah give us all the tawfiq to perform 'ibaadah correctly.M. Waseem Ashrafi
