Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Respected Imam Sahib I do dua that your in the bestest of health and Imaan.
My question to you is if an induvidual has been requested to read a suparah for a deceased person, but unfortunatly forgets which supara it was, and so does the person that has requested it then what should one do?
Is there a way of giving sadkah, or which suparah should the induviual read?
JazakuALLAH kHER
Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam Have you not got back in touch with the person who asked you to recite the siparah. It is best to ask him, but not make it obvious, that you hadnt recited it. Once youve asked him, and he's told you, then you can recite it. In future, try not to delay it for too long, and forgetting about it. Because, to recite the Qur'an is wajib, and you had promised to recite it, and that has to be fulfilled. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi

Respected IMAM the person that requested for the suparah to be read has also forgotton! This is the dilemma, both the person who requested the suparah to be read has forgotten and the person who agreed to read the suparah has forgotton also!

Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
