Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam To become a hafiz of Qur'an, is to memorise the words of Allah the Almighty. You are a safeguarder of the speech of Allah the Almighty. The speech of Allah the Almighty remains in your heart. Nothing can harm you, from the difficulties, turmoils, and hardships of this world, and the next world, which otherwise would have been brought to you in the form of punishment. You are in posession of the essence of knowledge, yet you may not understand it. On the day of judgement you will have the power to intercede for whoever you like. You also will have the power to take into paradise, 70 members from those you have passed, and 70 members of those whom will exist from your progeny, without the need for account. There are many other physical benefits also, such as being an intellect, from the elite, one who is close to Allah the Almighty, and His Beloved Messenger of Allah Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. All these benefits are those that we here about from time to time, but I do believe that there are many many more, which we have not heard about, or have reached us. Jazak'allah for your question. Wallahu A'lamu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
