Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Wa'alaykum 'Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa BarakatuhuAll Praise be to Allah who is the Lord of the Worlds, and may Endless Blessings be showered upon His Most Beloved, and Final Messenger of Islam, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa SallamJazak'allah for your question. There are some times in which to pray salah or make any form of prostration, during these times, has been rendered disliked ( makruh), because at these times it has not been recommended to us, but rather a prevention of it has been made. These times are as follows : Twenty minutes into the rising of the sun, at exactly midday (not 12 noon), but the half of from the rising of the sun, until the setting of the sun, which also lasts for about 20 minutes, and the last twenty minutes before Maghrib salah, or after 'Asr.These times have been prohibited to us, as it has been described in some instances as the 'prayer of the hypocrites'. We should try and prevent from praying in these times, unless we havent. May Allah give us all the tawfiq to learn our religion and to understand it. (Amin)Wallahu A'almu BiththawaabM. Waseem Ashrafi
